Biochemistry with Political Science minor

Will is a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon brotherhood, and in 2014 was accepted to at least two major sourthern law schools.

Michael Huckle
Ocean Springs, MS, transferred from Ole Miss.
Plays defense and long stick midfielder for the Hawks lacrosse team.

Political Science and Pre-Law
From Montgomery Catholic High Sch, Montgomery, AL
A soccer player and former American football player, Brandon added skill to our backyard sports events.  He also worked at the YMCA and was a competitive power lifter.

Nate, an enthusiastic presenter of readings in class,  moved on to Des Moines, IA after completing degree requirements, for a job with Wells Fargo bank.

Matt showed particular interest in the (counter) terrorism materials, delivering a number of presentations of readings.

Hayden Pugh
Political Science

Hayden was a football player and a brother of Sigma Phi Epsilon.  In spring 2013 he served in a Capitol Internship with the State House, and in spring 2014 with the Forestry commission.


Zachary Allen Turner
Political Science, History and Pre-Law
From Citronelle High School, Citronelle, AL

Zach was very active in student government, college democrats and various forms of leadership on campus. He was also a musician, playing baritone. In his senior year, serving energetically as SGA President, he assisted Dr. Lewis superbly in organizing and hosting a 100-member conference of the Alabama Political Science Association.

Political Science coursework
Jackson, who  came to us from Biochemistry,  was SGA sophomore class Vice President and Vice President of Recruitment for the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon.  A former left back at association football, he had also visited Ecuador and Colombia on mission trips. Jackson left HC after a couple of years.

Eric Houston Lyerly
Political Science
Eric transferred from Birmingham-Southern College to HC; he is a soccer striker playing in the traditional center-forward position, haivng scored about 30 goals in high school matches, and having played in defense at BSC.  He loves to fish and hunt, and has served as a lifeguard at Hoover.  He intends a career in law enforcement and criminal justice.
