A former football player who grew up in Philadelphia, Devon works in the library and is an avid watcher of political news.  Devon made the Dean's List as a freshman.  He also travelled to New York in April 2009 with our hard-working Model United Nations team, and became an active member of World Affairs Council.  As a a senior, he won the political science award.

Political Science
Formerly a cornerback on the football team, until a concussion encourged him to seek alternative pursuits.  In Fall 2007, Caleb became our sleepy absentee "victim" of a class visitation to his dorm room.  He's a good sport!  Caleb joined AF ROTC as a freshman.  He intends to become a pilot, and loves clubbing.  He is also considering law school and the Air Force JAG corps.

Rachael has been Student Government Junior class treasurer, freshman orientation host, Huntingdon host giving tours of campus, and has been a part of College Democrats.  Rachael speaks a little French, and has travelled to 49 states.  She plans to attend Mississippi college of law (or another that offers a bigger scholarship).

Political Science
Catie, a former cheerleader, has been a dancer since she was little, and studied under Holle Hartzog, a leading Huntingdon dancer and former Ms. Huntingdon.  In high school, she loved travel, debating, Government club, YMCA youth legislature, and youth summit.  Born in Georgia, she lived in California and visited Canada, and looks forward to travelling in Europe in her student years.  She has worked in a boys and girls club, doing life counselling in a program called "Smart Moves."  In Fall 2007 she served as a Senator in SGA and an officer of Freshman Forum.  She became a Resident Associate, HC Host and summer orientation leader.  In SGA she entered the executive cabinet, became director of special activities and College Activities Board director.  She also participated in cheerleading tryouts.  In Fall 2008, she was serving as an RA in the dorms when Obama won the presidential election, but Catie is a Republican.

Following graduation, Catie proceeded to master's study of political communications at the University of Alabama.

Linebacker or defensive end, raised in California, ex VP of SGA, conservative. Visited Public Organizations class before choosing HC.  Cole is a former basketball player who visited Mexico on a mission trip. Cole made the Dean's List of High Honors as a freshman, earned the political science award each year, assisted Councillor Matha Roby in securing election to the US House second district from Alabama, and in April 2011, he presented his senior capstone paper to the annual meeting of the Alabama Political Science Association.  As a a senior, he won the political science award.

Following graduation, Cole was married (by his father, a minister) and proceeeded to a political campaign position in Virginia and in 2012 others in the battleground states for his political consulting firm.

Kylie Piercy

Political Science
In freshman year, Kylie played piccolo in band, was in training to run marathons, a member of CAB and freshman forum, and a part-time waitress.  Kylie in 2009 was active in the color guard and the cross country team that won the GSAC conference.  A survivor of the 2007 Enterprise tornado, which struck her school with tragic effect, she intends a career in emergency medical services.

Following graduation, Kylie proceeded to a nursing school, and married Bobby Miller, a Sig Ep brother and former student in a political science class.

Football running back and former wide receiver, played on JV team.  Enjoys coaching his four little brothers in football and Little League.  Heath made the Dean's List as a freshman. After winning the political science award annually, in April 2011, he presented his senior capstone paper to the annual meeting of the Alabama Political Science Association.  As a a senior, he won the political science award.

Following graduation, Heath proceeded to Jones School of Law.

A Football kicker, Nathan played bass in a band, and was interested in travel to Germany.  He was active in Emanuel presbyterian church on Vaughn Rd.  In his first term, Nathan played kicker for all matches of the Junior Varsity team.

Sloane, our second class member to register in 2007, was president of her high school SGA and senior class, and was a basketball player interested in joining a sorority.  (Her friend, Andrea Garrett, was an HC and AOPi alumna.)

"Sloane Brewster, Class of 2011, was killed in a car accident in Cherokee County, December 20, 2013.  The accident also took the lives of her 2-year-old son, Scott Brewster, and a Centre, Alabama, police officer.  Sloane entered Huntingdon in the fall of 2007." -- HC Talon, 20 Jan. 2014

Deborah, our first class member to register in 2007, presented "Conservapedia, a Conservative online encyclopedia," to the Eagle Forum of Alabama's Leadership Conference XXVI, in Birmingham on July 13-14, 2007.  There she met Cindy Barnes Hayden '99, counsel to the US Senate Judiciary Committee, who spoke for Sen. Jeff Sessions.  She also visited our Public Organizations class before choosing HC.
"Deborah Garrett '11 (History; Pelham, Ala.) received a standing ovation for her speech on political correctness at the Eagle Forum of Alabama Leadership Conference XXVII.  She has been selected as a 2008 Collegian Scholar and awarded a scholarship to attend the 15th Annual Collegians Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., sponsored by Eagle Forum.   She was also selected to attend Young America Foundation's 30th Annual National Conservative Student Conference held at George Washington University in August." -- HC news

Jennifer travelled as student ambassador with People to People to Europe, explored 12 nations; swam in Clearwater with Manatees; and was interested in law, and election campaigns.  She left HC for personal reasons, Fall 2007.

Katie was a majorette who has been a competitive swimmer for the Dothan Dolphins.  She enjoyed theatre, and had written a play.  She had flown a light aircraft with her father, taken part in peanut pageants, and had been Miss Geneva County.   She left HC for personal reasons, Fall 2007.

A member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, and an enthusiastic golfer, Davis intends a career in international law. Davis transferred to Auburn university where he maintained his interest in political science, returning to HC for graduation in 2011 to support friends.

Chase, a drummer who loves the Allman Brothers Band, is interested in criminal justice for grad school, and was taught by Nicole Marshall, a recent alumna of Huntingdon.  He knows Steve Garrott, a former HC professor.  As a freshman, Chase achieved high national rankings in the golf team.
